Contract Length: Ongoing
Schedule: Monday - Friday, approximately 7:00 AM - 4:00/5:00 PM
Coverage Includes: Clinic, inpatient, outpatient, and call coverage
Reason for need: Scheduling support for Cardiothoracic Surgery program

Clinical Responsibilities
Provide first assist support for cardiothoracic surgical cases
Perform endoscopic vein harvest (EVH) for bypass procedures
Support cardiac and thoracic surgeons in operative and perioperative care
Participate in inpatient rounding under attending surgeon direction as needed
Collaborate with 2-3 employed APPs within the surgical program
Potential future expansion into weekend inpatient rounding responsibilities
Assigned and unassigned patient coverage
Average patients seen: 1 per day during call coverage
