Overview
We're on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands‑on female Support Workers to work in our supported living service in Urmston. As a support worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!
Responsibilities
- Enhance the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing activities.
- Support individuals to achieve their goals, such as cooking dinner by themselves or taking a holiday.
- Follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
- Provide care for individuals with mental health conditions, autism and trauma history.
- Assist with daily tasks and facilitate community engagement, e.g., outings to local bars, pubs, cinema or leisure activities.
