Support Worker – Women of 12‑hour contract (Part‑time)

We are recruiting a part‑time female support worker for a 12‑hour contract role in Thurso.

Role Overview

In this role you will support a lady with Down’s Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder who lives at home with her dad. She loves music, dancing, singing, daily picnics, day trips, and spends time with her dad and brother. She is afraid of dogs and prefers to travel in a car. You will travel to her home using your own vehicle with mileage reimbursed at 45p per mile.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the lady in her daily activities and social outings.
• Travel to the home by car; drive safely and arrive on time.
• Work various shifts: Monday, Wednesday, Sunday 9am‑9pm, 9am‑4pm or 4pm‑9pm; Tuesday and Thursday 9am‑10pm; Friday and Saturday sleepovers.
