Job Summary
We are looking for a Support Worker to assist vulnerable individuals with learning disabilities and a variety of health conditions such as diabetes and epilepsy to live independently in their own homes. The role requires proactive, fun, and understanding staff who can work with people who exhibit behaviour that challenges, helping them with daily living tasks, medication administration, and social support.
Responsibilities
- Provide medication administration, moving and positioning, cooking, and home maintenance support.
- Offer social support and assist individuals in achieving personal goals.
- Manage the finances of the people you support.
- Work flexible shift patterns, including days, sleepovers, and some weekends.
- Shift patterns typically include: 2 pm – 2 pm the next day (including sleepover); 8 am – 3 pm; 3 pm – 8.30 pm.
- Complete a 10‑hour post for relief staff.
