SUPPLY SYSTEM ANALYST

Summary You will serve as a SUPPLY SYSTEM ANALYST in the Strategic Analysis Division (Code 510.2), Compliance and Strategic Analysis Division (Code 510), Supply Department (Code 500) of NORFOLK NAVAL SHIPYARD. Responsibilities You will provide material statistic to shipyard and NAVSEA management. You will identify areas for improvement by reviewing performance standards, and corresponding metrics. You will resolve complex problems in supply operations and management programs in the supply program. You will perform strategic analysis of shipyards data and metrics in order to improve performance and sustainment. You will develop and utilize analytical tools to analyze shipyard data. You will analyze material metrics to identify long-lead or obsolescent material. You will regularly assess supply market to keep abreast of supplier performance, trends, business conditions, and product portfolios.
