**Overall, Purpose of the Role**:
Based in Mexico, the Supplier Application Engineer will be the local contact for the Global Supplier Quality.
You will work with global suppliers and internal stakeholders to execute the Global Supply Chain strategy.
Focusing on new supplier onboarding and project activities.
You may lead supplier audits/qualifications, facilitate design transfer meetings, review FAIs/PPAPs, ensure compliance, lead supplier corrective actions (8D), and support supplier development plans where needed.
Background vitreous processes are a plus.
