SUPERVISORY PHYSICAL SCIENTIST

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PHYSICAL SCIENTIST in the LITTORAL HYDROGRAPHY BRANCH (NP421) of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS. Responsibilities You will serve as Branch Head and direct all phases of the programs addressed by the branch including airborne and littoral hydrography. You will give advice, counsel, or instruction to individual employees on both work and administrative matters. You will ensure branch maintains proper resources to execute branch missions, You will serve as a specialist in the planning, execution, and processing of hydrographic surveys that are conducted either in cooperation with foreign national personnel or expeditionary surveys that directly support Fleet requirements. You will draw valid technical conclusions based on analyses of oceanographic, hydrographic, and/or bathymetric observations.
