Summary This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Center for Tobacco Products, Office of Science, Division of Product Science which is located in Silver Spring, Maryland. Responsibilities Formulate and apply new concepts, theories and methods for resolving critical and novel problems. Provide scientific lead on special projects that are inherently the most complex in regards to regulations, laws and science and are high priority for the division. Supervise a group of employees, including scientific experts and program analyst(s), performing work at the GS-13 level and above. Serve as a Technical Project Lead that performs summary reviews of Substantial Equivalence Reports (SE Reports) when requested by the Director.
