SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER

Summary You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FIREFIGHTER in the FIRE and EMERGENCY SERVICE of NAVSTA GREAT LAKES IL. Responsibilities You will determine levels of staff, equipment, and other resources needed to provide departmental services and programs. You will Instruct training for members of other fire departments. You will brief senior leaders or other employees on matters on firefighting actives, personnel, and equipment. You will prepare reports for the supervisor concerning fire runs, training, maintenance, inspections, or other topics. You will direct firefighters during structural, aircraft, and shipboard fire suppression and extinguishing. You will identify performance, progress, disciplinary, and training needs of crew members.
