Supervisory Contract Specialist - DIRECT HIRE

Summary This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Financial Management Division, Office of Acquisition (FA). This position(s) primary purpose is to serve as the Procuring and Administrative Contracting Officer and maintain a current Certificate of Appointment that reflects unlimited authority to initiate Federal contracts with the requirements of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). Supervisory requirements of this position may change due to the Office's realignment. Responsibilities As a Supervisory Contract Specialist - DIRECT HIRE, your typical work assignments may include: Provides coordination of an acquisition team consisting of technical, supply, finance, legal, and procurement communities and the customers we serve, and the contractors who provide the products and services.
