Substitute Music Teacher

The CBY Academy of Performing Arts in Waterdown is currently seeking substitute music teachers to join our team for September 2026.

We are looking for skilled, passionate music teachers across the following disciplines:

• Voice (Singing)
• Guitar
• Drums
• Music Theory
• Flute

Multi‑instrumentalists are strongly preferred.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will ideally possess the following:

• 5+ years’ experience as a musician, music student, and/or performer.
• 3+ years of proven music teaching experience.
• Familiarity with examination syllabi such as RCM or Conservatory Canada (preferred but not required).
• Strong sight‑reading, music theory, and repertoire knowledge.
