Job Description
1. Veterinary Care and Animal Welfare Conduct daily health monitoring of laboratory animals (rats, mice, rabbits, dogs, NHPs, etc.). Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and adverse clinical signs. Administer anesthetics, analgesics, and other therapeutic agents as per protocol or veterinary judgment. Provide guidance on humane endpoints and euthanasia methods. 2. Study-Related Responsibilities Participate in study planning, protocol review, and dose formulation review meetings. Perform and/or oversee clinical observations, detailed clinical exams, and necropsies. Evaluate and interpret clinical signs and correlate them with study data. Ensure all veterinary-related observations and treatments are documented in compliance with GLP. 3. Regulatory Compliance Ensure adherence to OECD GLP, CPCSEA/IAEC guidelines, and institutional SOPs.
