Finished your psychology degree and wondering what's next? This role offers an opportunity to use your training to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs at a specialist school in Reading.

What You'll Be Doing

• Work closely with students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to help them feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.
• Assist students in managing emotions and developing healthy coping strategies.
• Build trusted relationships that give students confidence and stability.
• Support social development and model positive behaviours.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists and pastoral teams to provide consistent support.
• Serve as a calm, encouraging presence that students can rely on, especially on difficult days.
