Job Title: Student Food Service Assistant

Location: South Neighborhood (Case and Holden Halls)

Starting Pay Rate: $14.73/hour (minimum wage increase to $16 effective 8/9/26) Responsibilities Assist in trucking/serving at food stations Maintain salad, beverage, or dessert stations Work in the dish room May be reassigned to other workstations during shift based on operational needs Required Qualifications Enrolled as a student at Michigan State University during the academic year Demonstrated commitment to outstanding customer service Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision Positive and respectful demeanor, especially when interacting with diverse populations Availability to work nights, early mornings, and/or weekends Preferred Qualifications
