Job Summary
The Cycle 1 Strip Technician is responsible for the inspection, stripping, fault‑finding, build and test of hydraulic units in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements. The role requires proficiency with precision measurement equipment, the ability to interpret engineering drawings, and strong mechanical maintenance skills. Working collaboratively, the technician ensures all components meet required standards and support safe, efficient operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspection of non‑complex hydraulic units.
- Investigation and fault finding of hydraulic units.
- Fully conversant with precision measurement equipment such as Verniers and micrometers.
- Interpret engineering drawings.
- Document procedures within a quality/regulatory controlled environment.
