Steel Quality Control Inspector

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Inspector to support structural steel fabrication and welding operations. This role ensures all work meets applicable codes, specifications, and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

· Perform visual and dimensional inspections of structural steel and welds

· Verify compliance with drawings, specs, and applicable codes (ASME/AWS)

· Conduct or support NDT inspections (RT, MT, PT, UT)

· Document inspection results and prepare QA/QC reports

· Communicate quality issues with shop leads and management

· Promote safety and quality best practices

Qualifications:

· QA/QC inspection experience in structural steel or fabrication

· Strong knowledge of weld inspection and fabrication processes

· Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
