Job Description
**Job Summary**
The Resource Development Engineer collaborates with all other disciplines (e.g., geologists, landmen, and production engineers) to optimize resource development on Continental’s Permian Basin assets. This role involves performance analysis, strategic planning, A&D evaluation, and reservoir characterization to maximize economic value and recovery.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
+ Conducts decline curve analysis to generate short and long-term production forecasts to support budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic decision-making.
+ Designs and optimizes well spacing, completions strategies, and field development plans to enhance recovery, maximize economics, and minimize costs.
+ Evaluates and makes recommendations on potential acquisitions and divestitures.
+ Develops and maintains type curves and economic analyses for various AOIs.
