Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate care plan for each resident.
- Administer medication with demonstrated knowledge of medication action, mode of administration, side effects and contraindications.
- Perform prescribed treatment and procedures in accordance with standard nursing practice to meet patients’ physical and emotional needs.
- Conduct discharge planning.
- Document residents’ progress, care and treatment provided accurately and timely.
- Communicate, participate and contribute actively during doctor’s rounds.
- Coordinate, participate and contribute to the family conference on complex patient care management.
- Assist in clinical emergency situations.
- Provide clinical guidance to junior nursing staff.
- Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by the Supervisor.
