ecobee is a company that manufactures smart Wi‑Fi thermostats and related connected‑home technology. We are hiring a Staff Hardware Engineer in Toronto, Canada, with a remote option in the US. As a Staff Hardware Engineer, you will lead the development of electrical products from concept to production, ensuring manufacturability, reliability, and compliance. Project Leadership
Lead technical execution for electrical and system design through EVT, DVT, PVT, and MP phases. Partner closely with design, manufacturing, embedded, supply chain, and quality teams to resolve cross‑functional trade‑offs. Influence technical plans, risk management, and execution priorities for complex NPI programs. Design for Excellence (DfX)
