Staff Engineer - Sputter Equipment & Manufacturing

Western Digital Capital in Penang is seeking a Staff Engineer in Manufacturing Equipment Engineering. In this role, you will ensure optimal equipment performance and oversee the maintenance and improvement of sputtering equipment used in hard disk production.

You'll lead cross-functional initiatives to reduce downtime and enhance equipment reliability while mentoring junior engineers. A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 8-12 years of relevant experience are required, with strong knowledge of vacuum systems and automation.
