Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Acquire knowledge of all finance and accounting functions and understand impact of each on the business
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of cash balances.
- Reconcile prepaid accounts and process related recurring monthly journal entries.
- Assist with implementation of various process efficiency improvements
- Provide support to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable coordinators to ensure smooth transaction processing.
- Prepare a daily cash forecast to support short-term cash flow management.
- Reconcile assigned balance sheets each month
- Complete the daily gross profit report and other financial reports as assigned
- Complete timely filing of fuel and other taxes reported and paid to applicable state and local taxing authorities as assigned
- Cross train with other finance team members to be able to provide support and back-up for accounting functions
