**Job Description:**
The Senior Supplier Quality Technician performs technical tasks and verifies documentation to support the selection, evaluation and monitoring of suppliers. Job Duties:
+ Provides support to the Engineers and Managers with gathering information to evaluate/qualify new suppliers and new raw material component.
+ Supports the management of approved suppliers, via the Approved Supplier List (ASL).
+ Assists with monitoring/evaluation of current approved suppliers by collecting quality assessment surveys, quality certificates, quality agreements, and inspection history.
+ Aids SQE/SQM with escalating supplier quality issues discovered in receiving inspection or other (e.g. in-process, on-site audit).
+ Contacts suppliers regarding component quality issues, nonconformance reports (NCRs) and supplier corrective action requests (SCARs).
