Job Description
Primary Function of Position: Under the direct supervision of the Production Manager, this position is responsible for achieving the team performance goals for production, including efficiency, DPU, accuracy, scrap, time lost accuracy, DHR accuracy, inventory metrics, and people metrics such as turnover.
Key Responsibilities
Hire, train, develop, and motivate production personnel to follow procedures and meet high‐quality standards, production schedules, and productivity requirements.
Update and revise Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPI) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Address line support issues, including technical issues, and collaborate with support departments to resolve production issues.
Document, report, and elevate variances, problems, and concerns.
Set clear expectations for production personnel and provide performance feedback quarterly and during stand‐ups.
