Sr Manager Payments Engineering

**A Day in the Life:**
The Senior Manager, Payments Engineering leads the engineering team responsible for the design, build, and operation of Hertz’s payment systems and integrations. Scope includes card-present, card-not-present, alternative payment methods, tokenization, payment orchestration, fraud signals, and the integrations that move payment data into reconciliation, settlement, and the General Ledger.
This role owns delivery, quality, on-call, production stability, hiring, performance, and budget for the payments engineering team, and partners closely with the Solutions Architect, Product, Information Security, Risk, Finance, and Operations. Payments are mission-critical to Hertz revenue; this leader ensures the engineering organization behind them is capable, disciplined, and continuously improving.
