Job Description
**Description:**
* Understand the general principles, topologies, access methods, transmission media, protocols, testing and troubleshooting of PLC data highway systems.
* Should be NACE certified to “Cathodic Protection Tester” or above. Must have working knowledge of CP and how it interacts with electronic field equipment.
* Ground system design and testing – System, equipment, static, lightning protection and sensitive electronics grounding.
* Process Analyzers – Understand the principles of operation and applications for on-stream analytical instruments used in industry including sampling systems and sampling techniques. Know analytical terminology, safety, types of analysis (on-stream gas and liquid chromatography, mass spectrometers, pH, conductivity, refractors, oxygen, dissolved oxygen, turbidity and ambient air analysis).
