Job Title Sr. E&M Engineer, Mechanical Job Description Experience in mechanical design of back-deck mission equipment for offshore construction activities (pipelay, flexlay, deepwater lowering, cranes, winches etc) and vessel equipment (cranes, winches, handling sheaves, etc.) Preparation of design basis, reports, design specifications, testing (FAT, SIT), construction and installation work procedures. Preparation of high quality detailed design hand calculations. Conversant with one or more of the major offshore design codes (API, AlSC, DnV, NORSOK, EuroCode 3). Conversant with class society (ABS, DNV, etc) rules. Experience in the installation and commissioning of mission equipment. Ideally will have experience using 3D modeling software and/or stress engineering software.
