Job Overview
This position will work in the ACME division of Hubbell, developing and producing standard and custom transformers up to 1600 KVA. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for developing new electrical designs in order to reduce cost and meet customer requirements. In addition, the Senior Electrical Engineer will work closely with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Purchasing and Sales personnel, ensuring production orders are produced correctly and on time.
A Day In The Life
+ Design Dry-Type Transformers and Reactors for low and high power applications, 1VA – 1.6 MVA at low frequencies (< 400hz).
+ Responsible for new product designs and cost estimates.
+ Organize and maintain design project schedules.
