Responsibilities
Provides design services by gathering information, making studies, computing calculations, and preparing detailed design and deliverables in accordance with project requirements Designs components or portions of systems and modifies existing designs to develop or improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations Gathers information, makes studies, computes calculations, and prepares original rough layouts and sketches to present design proposals Coordinates design criteria with engineering providing layout skid packages including MCC building, cable tray and lighting layouts, and motor schematic drawings Investigates pertinent design factors, such as ease of manufacture, availability of materials and equipment, interchangeability, replace ability, strength-weight efficiency, and contractual specification requirements Checks completed layouts and drawings for clarity, completeness, conformity to codes, regulations, and standards, procedures, specificatio...
