Job Summary:
Main roles & responsibilities: This position aims to identify cost reductions opportunities, ensure supplier's good performance (cost, delivery, quality, warranty), act to support new Product Introduction team within purchasing, support supplier development team as well as raise and lead sub-commodities strategies regionally and globally. Direct report to Global Category Manager. This Category Buyer will support the Regional and Global Team in order to comply with local and global strategies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers. Be closer to them specially due to capacity restrictions. Understand their needs and act to support as maximum as AGCO can; Reach cost savings targets, support process improvement initiatives and assure cost management avoiding cost divergencies;
