The Opportunity
Senior Automation Specialist is responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining automated industrial controls and equipment across the facility, including production and facility support equipment.
Open to all MLF team members; applications received beyond July 31 are not guaranteed consideration.
Day in the Life / Responsibilities
- Lead daily troubleshooting activities and provide solutions for process concerns and equipment improvements.
- Modify PLC programs to support production needs.
- Primary support for distributed local process control and monitoring automation systems, including industrial robotic control systems.
- Ensure integrity of machine control network architecture.
- Troubleshoot HMI, PLC, Remote IO, VFD, electronic control, and communication network issues.
