About the Position:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support our accounting operations in a fast-paced retail grocery environment. This position plays a key role in overseeing financial reporting, month-end close, account reconciliations, and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will bring both technical expertise and business acumen, with a strong understanding of accounting principles, inventory, and retail financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
· Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports
· Perform and review account reconciliations (bank, inventory, intercompany, accruals, prepaid, etc.)
