Job Description
A manufacturing company is looking for a Sr Accountant to join its finance and accounting team.
This position will be responsible for supporting accounting operations, month-end close activities, reconciliations, financial analysis, and maintaining the accuracy and integrity of accounting records within a corporate manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform and support monthly and annual closing activities
- Prepare account reconciliations and financial analysis
- Review and maintain accounting entries and records
- Support the preparation of financial statements and financial reports
- Analyze accounting discrepancies and variances
- Participate in internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with accounting controls and company policies
- Collaborate with finance and operational teams across the organization
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the accounting area
