Job Description
Responsibilities
- Assess patients with speech language communication voice and swallowing difficulties
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment findings and clinical needs
- Provide speech and language therapy interventions for pediatric and adult patients
- Conduct swallowing assessments and provide appropriate therapeutic interventions as required
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to achieve desired outcomes
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation including assessment reports progress notes and discharge summaries
- Educate patients families and caregivers on therapy techniques and home-based exercises
- Collaborate with physicians nurses occupational therapists physiotherapists psychologists and other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary care team
