Speech Language Pathologist (Winnipeg)

Position Overview

Within a team context and under the general supervision of the Manager, Child Health, the incumbent is responsible primarily for the provision of clinical services to a pediatric population consisting of both inpatients and outpatients: assessment, delivery, and intervention in group and individual contexts, indirect or direct intervention (e.g., home programming, parent training). Program development, education, in‑services, outcome evaluations, patient/family counselling, and quality improvement activities are integral components of the position.

Experience

• Previous experience with the pediatric population is required.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited/recognized university is required.

Certification & Licensure

• Basic Life Saving (CPR) training is required.
