Job Description
**Position Overview**
The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) provides evaluation, diagnosis, and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders. The SLP supports students’ academic success by addressing communication needs and collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Assessment & Evaluation**
1. Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations using standardized and informal assessments
2. Interpret evaluation results and determine eligibility for services under IDEA
3. Prepare detailed evaluation reports and recommendations
**Therapy & Intervention**
1. Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals for students
2. Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services
3. Address articulation, fluency, voice, expressive/receptive language, and social communication skills
