Keswick School, a therapeutic special education boarding school outside of Charlottesville, Virginia, is seeking applicants for an immediate full-time speech-language pathologist (SLP) position in a dynamic, inter-professional setting with adolescent and teen boys, ages 9-17, who have learning, developmental, and social-emotional challenges. The SLP would join a strong related services team comprised of an occupational therapist and art therapist. The related services team works closely within the broader clinical team, comprised of a psychiatrist, a clinical child psychologist, a Ph.D. family and marriage therapist, and two licensed clinical social workers. Our speech and language program teaches students the skills to be more effective and appropriate communicators, as well as addresses executive functioning and social skill deficits.
