Specification Writer

Key Accountabilities

• Specification writing, Hardware schedule preparation, technical assistance, and Project budget pricing.
• Assists Architect's in drafting specifications on doors and hardware for new building projects in both 2D and 3D BIM Environment (Revit).
• Communicates with Consultant, Interior Designer, Architect and understands their requirement from the concept/design stage of the project, understands their requirement on BIM and gives them full support with the collaboration of Openings studio.
• Prepares door hardware specifications based on interpretations of architects building & design plans.
• Takes ownership of technical issues and provides comprehensive support to internal consultants.
• Works on Project Floor Plans for Door Scheduling, Hardware Scheduling, Technical catalogue sheet for the items proposed.
• Works on Industry Standard Ironmongery requirements.
