Senior Control Systems Specialist

Responsibilities

• Create control system requirements by working closely with internal and external customers.
• Work closely with P&WC software design department and other software suppliers to ensure that system requirements are interpreted and implemented as intended.
• Create control system test plans and procedures used to validate control systems on simulated closed-loop benches, in a P&WC engine test cell, and on experimental flight test aircraft.
• Support P&WC engine test department and suppliers’ closed-loop bench test facilities to ensure smooth execution of validation activity.
• Support customer flight test activity.
• Review and interpret test data produced during validation testing.
• Generate top-level certification reports for submittal to national and foreign airworthiness certification authorities.
