Teaching Personnel are working closely with a welcoming primary school in Bispham to recruit a Specialist Support Assistant to start in September .

This role involves supporting a Year 3 pupil group with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs , where challenging behaviour is present. The school is looking for a resilient, empathetic, and proactive individual who can build positive relationships and provide consistent support.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support within a Year 3 classroom
• Support pupils with SEMH needs and behavioural challenges
• Implement behaviour management strategies and support plans
