Position Overview
Manufacturing Production Worker responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting manufacturing production equipment (machining, processing, assembly, or packaging) to produce products according to specifications, schedules, volume, cost, waste, and quality targets. Maintains accurate production records and monitors product quality, discarding or re-manufacturing faulty products.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate machine tool, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment.
- Move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods.
- Monitor quality of output to identify defective items and initiate re-manufacturing or discard.
- Maintain accurate daily production records for performance analysis.
