AWS customers trust that their security works correctly and consistently across every service they use. The Auth Consistency team exists to validate and uphold that trust.
As a Software Development Manager on the Auth Consistency team, you'll lead engineers who build the tools, frameworks, and mechanisms that verify authentication and authorization correctness at AWS scale. This is a high-visibility role with direct engagement from senior leadership, because the problem you're solving is one customers care deeply about: knowing that their security posture is correct no matter which AWS services they use.
This team is at an exciting inflection point. AI opens new frontiers for how we approach testing, coverage, and verification at scale. There is significant opportunity to pioneer novel AI-driven approaches to generating test cases, expanding coverage in ways that were previously impractical, and helping remediate issues faster.
