Software Development Engineer

Join our team of innovative Software Engineers and build the next generation service platforms for AWS, EC2, and our customers. These services are key components of the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) web service.

Our platform handles a significant load of Internet traffic generated by internal and external customers that build their solutions on EC2. We use Java, Kotlin, Typescript, Python, Ruby, Go, and C++ along with various native AWS services and internal tools. While you are not expected to be an expert in all these technologies, we require strong programming fundamentals and a passion for learning new tools.

We invent, design, and build software that is stable, scalable, and performant. Code must be clear, maintainable, and pragmatic, and we maintain a high bar in code reviews to ensure high quality.
