Job summary
AWS Metering is one of Amazon's largest big data processing teams. Computing AWS bills is, at its core, a large-scale distributed systems problem that requires processing trillions of usage records every hour. Our systems process over 2 billion events per second and more than 1.6 petabytes per hour for millions of customers, with a 100% accuracy commitment—and this volume grows 2x every 14 months. We solve complex computer science problems around idempotency, once-and-only-once processing, and hot-partition management, all at an extraordinary scale across globally distributed services. As a foundational system, we are dedicated to scaling with the growth of AWS.
