Eating Disorders Clinic – Mental Health & Addictions Program
8 Hour Shifts, days, evenings Schedule (Subject to Change)
Location: Lakeridge Health Whitby
Wage Schedule: $44.670 - $57.900 per hour
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, the Social Worker provides intake, pre‑entry services, psychosocial assessment, individual, family and group psychotherapy, and psycho‑education to children, adolescents and adults with eating disorders and related co‑morbidities. The SW also provides ongoing psychosocial treatment to families and parents of referred clients. Inpatient consultation is provided when requested or to assist with discharge from the hospital. The Social Worker provides evidence‑based care while collaborating with team members and community partners, engages in continuing education, outreach education and presentations.
