Job Summary The Social Media & Content Student Assistant at the Oberlin College Office of Career Exploration and Development (CED) is responsible for managing and growing the office’s social media presence through strategic content creation and daily engagement. This role focuses on developing and executing social media plans, creating and editing video content (including reels), and promoting CED programs, events, and resources to students.
This student will serve as a CED ambassador by sharing student stories, covering events, and proactively developing campaigns that increase awareness and engagement across campus. Responsibilities Primary Duties:
Develop and manage a weekly social media content calendar
Create and post daily content across platforms (Instagram, etc.)
Film, edit, and produce short-form video content (reels, stories)
Cover events and create real-time and post-event content
