SMT Operator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an SMT Operator to join a successful electronics manufacturing business in Stevenage.

About the Role

You will be responsible for operating and maintaining surface mount production equipment while ensuring quality standards are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate SMT production equipment
• Inspect products before and after assembly
• Identify and escape quality concerns
• Operate solder paste printing equipment
• Carry out routine machine maintenance
• Support continuous improvement initiatives

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous SMT, electronics or manufacturing experience
• Good understanding of quality standards and inspection techniques
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
• SMT machinery experience advantageous
