The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Smelter Labourer to join our Glencore Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations.
The position will be based in Greater Sudbury (Falconbridge), Ontario.
This is a full-time, permanent, unionized position.
The hourly wage rate is $37.55 per hour, the position is eligible for applicable bonuses.
This position is being posted to fill an existing vacancy.
Work location is not accessible by public transportation.
Duties and Accountabilities
- Works in compliance with Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations safety rules and guidelines.
- Receives instructions from supervision and direction from smelter operators.
- Performs manual tasks such as: housekeeping tasks; (sweep, shovel, wash, etc); delivering supplies, samples, mail.
