Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a SMALL ARMS REPAIRER, Position Description Number PDD1227000 and is part of the KY CSMS, National Guard. Responsibilities As a SMALL ARMS REPAIRER, WG-6610-9, you will disassemble weapons, assemblies, subassemblies and other components. Examine for defects, misalignment and malfunctions. Replace barrels, firing pins, springs, trigger mechanisms, shell ejectors, and other parts/assemblies. Modify small weapons by replacing worn or obsolete parts. Perform accurization of national match weapons on a limited basis which includes selecting, fitting, and altering parts. Perform overhaul, maintenance, and repair on a variety of small arms. Diagnose and identify mechanical deficiencies/ malfunctions of weapons. Use micrometer to measure altered tolerances and make additional adjustments as required.
