The Sleep Technician role requires vigilance and communication to support patients throughout their polysomnography testing. You will manage patient histories and provide essential information regarding testing procedures and therapeutic options. This role calls for strong analytical and technical skills developed through relevant healthcare experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare comprehensive charts and patient histories
• Communicate testing goals and procedures to patients
• Collect and save overnight polysomnography data properly
• Operate CPAP or Bi-Level PAP machines as needed
• Ensure data is compiled and stored efficiently
Requirements:
• Minimum of a 2-year health-related college degree
• Required experience in a Sleep Laboratory as a Technician
