Job Description
Join the team at Bell Creek Mine as a Millwright in Porcupine, ON, with a full-time commitment to a 5‑5‑4 schedule and 10-hour shifts. This role is integral to ensuring reliable machinery operations and upkeep.
As a Millwright, you'll relocate to Timmins and carry out comprehensive maintenance on various systems, including fuel distribution and mine water systems. Candidates must be licensed or in an apprenticeship, and experience with hoisting systems or basic UG Hard Rock Common Core is beneficial. Your focus on safety and effective repairs will enhance our operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and repair hoisting and water treatment systems
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and mechanical breakdowns
• Execute shop fabrication tasks as required
• Comply with safety practices and maintain clean workspaces
• Support the maintenance of all mine systems
